Lewisham is currently undergoing major changes. The area around Loampit Vale & Lewisham DLR, once drab and boring is now vibrant and full of colour mainly due to the Landmark development Renaissance, which incorporates a regeneration programme to include 788 new apartments as well as a leisure centre, shops, cafes and green spaces.

Lewisham is a commuter hotspot with easy access to Canary Wharf, Waterloo & London Bridge. The town centre is mix of national high street stores & local traders.
 
 In addition to two large supermarkets there is a still a local market which runs through the high street.

Hither Green also comes under SE13. Underrated for many years, Hither Green is now forging a reputation as the next big thing.
